Belize gifts has just had it’s tenth anniversary in San Ignacio, it has for the last two years been situated in the JNC Mall on Burns Avenue, before the mall was build it occupied part of the site where the mall now stands. Belize Gifts is owned by Patricia Richards who is a Belizean from San Ignacio, her husband, Anthony, who is from Belize City, runs the store. Belize Gifts has a wonderful array of interesting goods, which range from clay work to Belizean furniture. The majority of their wares are made in Belize, Patricia likes to try and support local talent wherever possible and this is extended by their generosity in donating prizes for local schools and colleges and any event that will benefit the local community.

Browsing along the shelves you will find Belizean cigars, local wines and leather goods, locally made soaps and skincare products with wonderful perfumes. There is a whole range of Rasta products, T-shirts, belts, hats. And they also carried a great selection of books which cover all you need to know about Belize, its natural history and the ancient Maya, all written by local writers, there are even several cook books, so if you are holidaying here in Belize you can take home the tastes of Belize to share with your friends.

Belize gifts is a must to visit, the shop is bright and spacey and a joy to browse.
