A darling Mom & Pop pair, Elisa and Victor Bejos balance incoming calls and walk - in customers with sincere patience. Dues to such dedication, they enjoy a very loyal customer base, mostly comprised of Belizeans going abroad. Always the charmer, Victor credits Elisa for their repeat clients: “When they see her smiles, they keep coming back for more.”

The Bejos married in 1967, moving from San Ignacio to Orange Walk to Belize City, before settling in Belmopan in 1973. Both Elisa and Victor worked as Teachers. Elisa taught Math and Language for 21 years and Victor taught Spanish for a spell. Victor’s various business ventures required them to move more frequently; he says with a laugh, “She had to follow me, and she’s been following me a long time.”

They have one son, Michael, whose mere mention brings a flush of pride to both of their faces. He studied at the University of Oxford in London and for two years at a school in Costa Rica specializing in diplomacy. He currently works as a diplomat in Mexico, having worked as a representative of Belize in various Countries around the World.

Ironically, the Bejos themselves find little time to see the world. Elisa says, “We’re always busy we do not have time to travel!.” They have only gone as far as Nova Scotia, yet everyday their hours are filled helping Belizeans reach every corner of the globe.

Elisa’s travel agency began unofficially as a favor to help Elisa’s niece in Belize City, who was overrun with business in her travel agency in Belize City. Elisa had been running a boutique in Belmopan at the time and offered to take some clients for her niece. Very quickly she found herself swamped with travel business, so they closed the boutique and Victor and Elisa officially opened their own travel agency in 1986. They had found their niche!

Where else can you find a welcoming family - run agency distinguished by international accreditation? The walls proudly feature a collection of awards, yet the agency’s real appeal is in the faces of these two special Owners. Victor will humbly discredit himself and tell you, “She’s the beauty, I’m the beast.”

Truly their kindness and genuine enjoyment in serving Belizeans makes them both shine. Whether its institutional business or vacation planning, Victor and Elisa enjoy helping people plan their adventures.
